On March 9 Animoca brandsthe Hong Kong-based software company and venture capital firm, announced the launch of Club 3, a members-only club in Los Angeles, in collaboration with Planet Hollywood The group’s joint venture, Meta Hollywood. “The first ever private club reimagined exclusively for the Web3 community” aims to bridge the gap between real and virtual membership. Expected to launch in Beta this year, ClubID is a new identity, membership and commerce platform that Club 3 will use to power the Meta Hollywood communities.
CLUB 3 will be integrated with #Web3 mechanics like community voting on seasonal menus or joint promotions on certain things #NFT projects and member owners.

Club 3’s first location will open on the iconic Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California in the second half of 2023. If successful, the group intends to expand globally with locations in New York, Miami, Tokyo, London, Paris and Hong Kong. The upcoming 10,000-square-foot Club 3 facility will offer a variety of dining options with a unique atmosphere, including a main dining room, a rooftop restaurant and eclectic bars. The facility will also include meeting rooms, karaoke areas and programmable spaces designed for immersive virtual and in-person events. These events include industry gatherings, community meetings, seminars and question and answer sessions.
“CLUB 3 will encourage and stimulate the wider Web3 community and serve as a launching pad for those who want to learn more about this new world.” said Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands.
Adding a touch of class to the Web3 world
Club 3 is set to revolutionize the traditional club experience by integrating Web3 DAO mechanics. This feature will enable community voting on seasonal menus, bonuses and promotions, giving members a say in the restaurant’s offerings. To become a member of Club 3, collectors must first mint Club 3 NFT, which provides membership at four levels: founding, social, global and corporate membership. Level selection depends on personal preference and desired experience.
Membership privileges will vary depending on the level chosen, with access to amenities such as closed chat in the virtual dating community. Social and founding memberships require a one-time fee of $2,500 and $7,500, respectively. For a fee of US$1,500, members can upgrade their Club 3 membership to a global membership.
