Culkin and Song welcomed their first childa boy named Dakota Song Culkin, in April 2021, and They said they were engaged in 2022.

The stars have remained relatively private about their relationship and family, but occasionally they open up about it, including Song tells The Cut a bit about her approach to parenthood in 2022. “My fiancé and I are very hands-on. We don’t have a nanny, but mom has been with us since my son was born,” she said. “When I was working, my mom would bring her to the set so I could breastfeed her and see her during the day. People tell you a lot about labor and pregnancy, but not about the fourth trimester. In my girlfriends who are pregnant, I say, make sure you have help. Because your instinct is that you want to do everything and you can’t.” Song added that she felt “incredibly lucky” to have Culkin help balance her career with motherhood.
