Crew-5 Astronauts Preparing for Final Hour before Splashdown – Space Station

Watch the agencylive coverageas NASA astronauts Nicole Mann and Josh Cassada, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Koichi Wakata, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Anna Kikina aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft are about an hour away from landing splash down into the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Florida at approximately 9:02 pm EST. Weather conditions remain within splashdown weather standards and “Go” to the primary target site off the coast of Tampa, Florida.

The deorbit burn is scheduled to begin at 8:11 pm EST.
