
NASA astronauts Nicole Mann and Josh Cassada, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Koichi Wakata, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Anna Kikina safely ejected from the SpaceX DragonEndurancein the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Tampa, Florida, at 9:02 pm ESTafter 157 days in space.
Teams inShannonThe recovery ship, including two fast boats, is now in the process of securing Dragon and making sure the spacecraft is safe for the recovery effort. As the fast boat teams finish their work, the recovery ship will move into position to lift the Dragon onto the main deck of theShannonwith the astronauts inside. Once on the main deck, the crew will be ejected from the spacecraft and receive medical checks before boarding the helicopter for departure Tampa take a plane to Houston.
