Hackensack, NJ – On Monday, March 13, 2023, officers from the Hackensack Police Department presented an active shooter awareness interview at First Presbyterian Church.
Hackensack Police Department Officers Sergeant Mark Del Carpio and Officer Jason Gretkowski briefed participants on ways to prepare and spot the signs of an active shooter. They discussed active shooter and threat strategies and action plans, such as best practices to run, hide, and fight.
After the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and talk to officials about this important topic.
