JPL has been webhosting bi-annual blood drives together with the Pink Move of The united states since a minimum of 1951. This symbol, taken all over the force held 13 April 1955, depicts a JPL nurse drawing blood from a JPL donor. The blood donated all over those drives was once gathered into the ‘JPL Blood Financial institution,’ from which blood was once particularly allotted to JPL staffers and their members of the family in want.
