You may have noticed the Washington Capitals–New York Rangers the game looks a little different. Does that Cricket Green play for Rangers?
Tuesday’s game was a first-of-its-kind production: A live hockey game turned into a real-time animated series and virtually recreated the action on the ice at Madison Square Garden. It featured characters from the Disney animated series “Big City Greens,” which debuted in 2018.
Mika Zibanejad opened the scoring and New York never looked back as the Rangers won the game, 5-3.
