Shiny fireball over Madrid traced again to comet of beginning



A in particular vibrant meteor observed within the skies of Earth on July 31 has been tracked again to a comet that created a box of particles when it all started to fall apart 1000’s of years in the past. 

Scientists imagine that the fragment that ended its existence as a fireball over Madrid, Spain, started its life as a part of Comet 169P/NEAT, which shaped similtaneously the sun machine, round 4.6 billion years in the past. The comet, an icy frame that sheds particles because it travels, is chargeable for the Alpha Capricornids annual meteor bathe, which first befell between 3,500 and 5,000 years in the past when round part of Comet 169P/NEAT disintegrated.
