Tamar Braxton fiancee! The singer is officially engaged to the lawyer Jeremy ‘JR’ Robinson. Unfortunately, at least one of Jeremy’s exes and the mother of his four children is unhappy with the engagement news— specifically because of Tamar, he revealed.
First the couple sparked dating rumors in August after they held hands for his 46th birthday celebration.
Entertainment Tonight confirmed the engagement news, adding that the couple is in the “planning stages.” Robinson reportedly proposed to Braxton in the final moments of the season finale for the reality show, Queens Courtwhich tells the singer:
“I don’t want to be your friend. I want you to be my spouse. I’m here forever because I can’t see my life without you,” Jeremy told Braxton. “And I love you, Tamar. Tamar, will you marry me?”

Today she is celebrating her birthday and took to Instagram to thank the man as well “who puts [a] cheesy smile” on his face. In the post, he also mentioned the talks about their blended family.
Braxton wrote:
“It took me a while to realize that this sweet, Traditional love is the kind I want and need. We have 6 children between the two of us, and ALL are important to me. So miss me with the he has 4 baby mamas!! Thank God for them. We are blessed And drama free, thank God for my best friend, life partner and fiancée @rarebreednola the happiest birthday to me ever.”
After Tamar’s post began to spread, Anaston Jeni, Jeremy’s ex and co-parent let loose a long applause back at Tamar’s “blessed and drama-free” claim. Jeni said she “sat in silence for over a year,” respecting people’s privacy while hers was not, Tamar alleged.
Anaston wrote:
“I sat in silence as this person came into my son’s life and created nothing but chaos and unnecessary drama. Meanwhile I will not talk about my son’s other siblings and what kind of relationship their father or the this girl is theirs. Let me be clear to everyone who knows me and everyone who knows them. This girl is not a bonus or a stepmom to my son. My son does not mean ‘everything’ to her, and she is not thanked God for me and honestly, none of his baby mamas. He said insulting, disrespectful, and outrageous things about how I chose to parent my child’s father and the efforts which I did to keep him company.”
The ex added that Tamar never tried to recognize her “as a woman or a mother.” He also said that Tamar interfered with Jeremy and his son’s relationship by causing him “to miss visiting on weekends and birthdays.”
In he captionedAnaston says she’s never been a “bitter baby mama” or an opportunist.
“But people who know me on social media and in real life know that I have never experienced those things. I worked hard for everything I had and my son’s father gave me none of it. I supported him throughout his life and never made any derogatory or slanderous comments about him on social media. I do not benefit financially or socially from any of this being made public. I don’t want to be famous or known,” Jeni wrote.
Tamar and Jeremy did not respond to his statements. Congratulations to the couple on their engagement!
